Lori Bielawa. ![]() Lori started her journey in the dog world when she and her husband, Roger, purchased their first dog, Kelly (Weimaraner). Kelly was more than they bargained for and was thankful for finding Linda Caplan who took them under her wing and started them on their journey of learning more than they ever thought there was to learn about dogs, dog behavior and training. Lori worked under Linda for several years as a student, assistant, then an instructor. Five years later, Lori passed the testing of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (“NADOI”), and was then endorsed by this Association who recognizes the time, effort and energy that some people put into the various aspects of dogs. Eight years later, Lori decided to venture out on her own opening Waggles and bringing her own style, classes and events to people in and around the Vermont area. Now the owner of three dogs, Kelly, Ripley (German Shorthaired Pointer) and Hannah (German Shorthaired Pointer), Lori competes in conformation, hunting, agility, and soon, flyball and obedience. Lori has a variety of experiences and certifications, you can view a few of them here. |

Roger. Don’t be fooled by his quiet mannerism. Roger is hard at work behind the scenes making sure things are set up, taken down and cared for at Waggles. His major talent with dogs is that of socialization, play, and let’s not forget, hunting. Roger has acquired Junior Hunter titles on both GSPs (including one perfect score on Hannah), and a NAVHDA Prize One hunting title on Hannah, with perfect scores in that hunt test as well. When you see Rog hanging around, don’t forget to thank him. His hard work behind the scenes is priceless to all who work and play at Waggles. |

Megan.![]() Having loved dogs since childhood Megan always dreamed of having her own. This dream became a reality when adopting Shannon from a pound for the "steal" price of $5! While the original plan was to have a companion to exercise with, Shannon had different plans that quickly landed her and Megan in formal training. While always a lovebug and a clown, Shannon admittdedly has had difficulty with focus. They've been training in Agility and started competing in the fall of 2005, by fall 2006 she has been competing in AKC excellent. It is Shannons blinding speed and incredible athleticism that has christened her formally as "Catch Me if You Can Shannon". Spring of 2006 Megan's family grew with the addition of "Creekside Fynn"- a tri color Border collie with strong herding ties. A happy little man you're sure to see him in tow! While regulars at Waggles Megan's time is more limited as of recent as she completes her Masters in Nursing. AUGUST 2006: Megan is now Julie Daniels'Agilty Instructor Certified! JULY 2007: Megan is now a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator! | |
