LORI BIELAWA
Owner, trainer and instructor. Endorsed by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (“NADOI”). I began on the path to training 14 years ago when my husband and I acquired a Weimaraner puppy that had behavioral issues. I went to my first obedience class and never left. After many obedience classes, private lessons and having fun with agility, I began shadowing the owner and instructors and worked my way up to instructing classes and private lessons. Long story short, and 4 dogs later (1 Weimaraner and 3 German Shorthaired Pointers), I’ve competed in conformation, hunting (mostly Roger), rally obedience and obedience, obtaining a Canadian Champion title, Junior Hunter titles, NAVHDA Prize I and rally titles. My love, however, remains agility. We completed many titles in agility and Hannah was in the top of her breed in 2007, earning her a place at the AKC Agility Invitation in Long Beach, CA. What an exciting trip it was, and what a spectacular event!!!! In May and October of 2009 we were devasted to lose our two old girls. Both were 13+ years old. They provided us with a ton of memories that we wouldn’t trade for the world, although we miss them terribly. Now we look to the future and with that comes continuing our work and training with Hannah toward her Master Agility CHampion title (“MACH”), her Senior Hunter title; and Riva’s Junior Hunter title and getting her out playing agility. It’s a future worth looking forward to.
ROGER
Don’t be fooled by his quiet mannerism. Roger is hard at work behind the scenes making sure things are set up, taken down and cared for at Waggles. His major talent with dogs is that of socialization, play, and let’s not forget, hunting. Roger has acquired Junior Hunter titles on both GSPs (including one perfect score on Hannah), and a NAVHDA Prize One hunting title on Hannah, with perfect scores in that hunt test as well. When you see Rog hanging around, don’t forget to thank him. His hard work behind the scenes is priceless to all who work and play at Waggles.
